There is so much to see and do throughout the whole area, from mountainbiking or rock climbing through to visiting castles or sites beholden to legends.

Below are some ideas, including the more unusual, and all are located close to Betws-y-Coed.

Sightseeing Tours

When you stay at Bryn Afon for two nights or more, if you make a group booking of up to 8 people, you have the added benefit of being able to tailor-make your own private tour with Celticos. Plus pick up and drop off can take place at Bryn Afon. Group discounts of up to 8 persons with Celticos are available at certain times of the year, such as March and October.

Outdoor Adventure

You can take the Sherpa Bus from Betws-y-Coed to Snowdonia and the surrounding areas. Parking at Pen-y-Pass is £10 for the day, or £1.50 on the bus per person which gives you the option of walking up and down Snowdon on different paths.

Or why not try walking in other areas such as the Gwydyr Forest and the Conwy Valley. There are several stunning lakes which are in walking distance from Bryn Afon, for example; Llyn Geirionydd, Llyn Crafnant, Llyn Parc and Llyn Elsi.

Mountain biking

The Marin Trail is a ten-minute bike ride away from Bryn Afon in the nearby Gwydyr Forest.
